Hot FM Fires Overzealous Mutale Mwanza

Hot FM radio has fired RADIO personality and breakfast show presenter Mutale Mwanza with immediate effect.

The dismissal letter from the CEO Oscar Chavula reads:

    Dear Ms Mwanza,

It is with profound regret that I must inform you that management has decided to terminate your employment with Hot FM with immediate effect.

We find your brand to be seriously in conflict with the Hot FM brand and values and can no longer allow this trend to continue.

Your latest antics are, in our view, highly disrespectful, unprovoked and unconscionable considering that they were targeted at an elderly national leader. It literally amounts to cyberbullying and we do not condone such in our values and principles.

We believe we have cautioned you enough in the last few months regarding your public conduct and warned you against dragging our brand and company down to your level.

Time has come to part company with you and we wish you well in your future endeavours.

    Regards

    Oscar Chavula.

In her now-deleted post on Facebook, Ms Mwanza urged her followers to choose between herself and Lusaka Central Member of Parliament, Margret Mwanakatwe for forthcoming General elections.

“Bio oil or booze. Now let’s be honest, which B would your rather vote for,” reads the post.

  • Roberto answers fan questions about his music

Roberto answers fan questions about his music

Yesterday the superstar Roberto had a Q & A session on his Facebook page. The singer hosted the session on his Facebook where fans asked questions in the comment section and he responded to them. Below are some of the questions Roberto answered.

Have you ever felt like giving up on music at some point? If yes then how did you overcome that feeling?

It is something that most artists face. I felt that way at the beginning of last year. But here I am, self-drive and confidence is what you need. Hence, I really don’t tolerate people who come to me and say MAKE ME AS WELL. Cause every day I fight to be better than I was yesterday, by myself.

How do you meet up with international artists?

Via different means actually, some we meet in person. Others I’m introduced to via business associates, others we connect via social media.

I heard that general Ozzy is your brother is that correct?

    Yes, he is my brother.

I remember last time you asked us about which artist between Khaligraph Jonez or Diamond Platnumz we would love to see you collaborate with, how far with the program?

    Tekanyani (accompanied with laughing emojis)

Is the mayorkun collabo going to happen?

That’s up to him now. We did our part so hope we can drop the song one day.

Other comments on the post were filled with appreciation for Roberto’s work and continued hard work.
