After the successful release of his debut album ‘Fuego Vol 1’, The Sauce Boss VJeezy has revealed the cover art and tracklist for his second studio album ‘Fuego Vol 2.’
The 11-song tracklist album will be out on November 18th, and it will feature top acts like Chef 187, Slapdee, Macky 2, Mic Burner and many more.

Before the Zambian general election in August this year, Slapdee and other big names in the music industry got involved in national politics by doing songs used in political campaigns.
His fans heavily criticized this move, but he defended his decision by saying ‘Music is business’ and that’s what puts for on his table.’
Little did he know that the same statement would bounce back to him in the future. Some days ago, Slapdee got nominated for the awards AFRIMMA and is now coming to them to vote for him.
The fans are totally against it; instead, they have decided to endorse a South African rapper Cassper Nyovest who’s in the same category as him.
Everyone said, “we are voting for Cassper on merit and this is business,” the same statement Slapdee used when he was doing the political songs.
The news reached Cassper Nyovest, where he responded with a question, “Why am I trending in Zambia?”.
Slapdee has therefore contacted AFRIMMA management to withdraw his nomination and later apologized to his fans on Facebook.

Notable Zambian dancehall artist and Nexus Music signee T-Sean has shared some seriously sad news that his house has been gutted by fire. The Incidence occurred today 8 August 2021 in the afternoon in Lusaka’s Lilayi area where the artiste resides.
The fire caused some serious damage to his household properties worth thousands of Kwacha. The matter has since been reported to the police and investigation are underway to ascertain the source of the fire. The artist has since appealed to the general public for support in terms of donations.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing and once concluded the public will be informed.
In the spirit of goodwill, we as friends to the Mulenga family are requesting support from well-wishers who would like to help them get back to their feet and rise from this unbearable loss.

Macky 2 and Muzo Aka Alphonso used to be close friends when they were both label mates at Alpha Entertainments some years ago but that ship sailed when Muzo Aka Alphonso left the label and had their differences.
The wonderful news is, Kopala Swag topmost rapper Macky 2 shared a video titled “The Beginning Of A New Era.” In the video, Macky 2 said he has a song done with Muzo AKA Alphonso and further added that the song is accompanied by a music video. The song is titled “Take It Easy” and was directed by Macky 2 himself.
The song is taken off his impending album called “Olijaba”, a body of work that stands as his last studio project. the official release date of the album hasn’t been announced yet and fans are still anticipating the tracklist and album cover.

Musician Yo Maps is undoubtedly among, if not the most current happening Zambian artiste. He has worked hard over a short period to command a huge fanbase. His music continues to mesmerise a lot of us and it is clear, Yo Maps is immensely talented. However, I feel by this time, Yo Maps could have gone international. He seems to be too confined to the Zambian audience and probably making no major efforts to get his music beyond borders.

I feel that being under Kalandanya Music Promotions must even give him more opportunities to think international. If I am not mistaken, Yo Maps became very famous at almost the same time as Malawi’s Namandingo. But if I compare the two today, Namandingo seems to be more internationally appealing than Yo Maps.
I feel Yo Maps is our greatest chance to get international. His music label must begin branding and packaging him for the international platform. Get him collaborations that will engage international audiences. Music videos that will attract the international market. It is not too late for Yo Maps to start thinking international. He’s got the talent, he’s got the support and he’s got the money, all he needs is to get international.
Multi-Award Winning Zambian Afro-Pop/R&B singer & songwriter, T-Low has shared the tracklist to his forthcoming album, The Awakening.
The singer, via his social media pages, dropped both back of cover art and tracklist on the 7th of March 2021, which will feature top acts like Mumba Yachi, James Sakala, Jay Rox and more.
Although he did not release the exact date when the album will be released, he announced that it will be soon.

Lavish is an understatement when it comes to describing the plan Mumba Yachi has for his soon to be built studios. Mumba Yachi shared pictures of his studio designs Yachi art centre.
The studio designs are valued at k33,000. And were a donation by Builders Village Limited, a construction company with expertise in design and construction.
Mumba Yachi thanked the company for its contribution on his social media page. He further announced that the works of his studio are starting soon.
In case you are not aware, late last year the singers’ studio was burnt to ashes. Fortunately, many people including fellow artists have come to his aid and helped him in the process of establishing his new studio.
