Sampa The Great has released her new track, “Ukwamba (To Start),” a powerful opening chapter in her new Nu Era. Shot in Zambia, the song tells a moving story of bloodline, legacy, and the passing of culture to a new generation through music and storytelling.
The release features Sampa in conversation with an earlier version of herself, alongside her uncle George Kunda, also known as Groovy George, one of the founding voices of Zamrock. Together, they help carry the sound into a fresh new era.
