Cape Town rapper, songwriter and music producer Kae Wax has released a new single “Imin’ emnandi Kuwe” featuring Bravo Le Roux.
“Imin’ emnandi Kuwe” is a song about cherishing and celebrating birthdays. Kae Wax wrote the song in celebration of his birthday and dropped it on the day but it’s generally a song anyone can vibe to in celebration of their special day. The song encourages people to be merry, dance and party when celebrating this annual and milestone growth.
The idea of this joint came about when Kae Wax thought of making a trap song for birthday celebrations as there are a lot of this kind in other genres, this one caters for Hip-Hop lovers. Lisco M sent the flamed beat after seeing a Facebook post from Kae Wax about this idea, the hook was written and Khayelitsha superstar Bravo Le Roux later pulled through to top the song with a cherry verse in what is said to have been an epic studio session at Kae Wax’s crib as he also laced his verse on the same day.
Kae Wax is one of the Xhosa trap pioneers on the come up and he is hoping to take the sound to the world by any means necessary.
